The Certification Board for Professionals in Addiction and Alcoholism of Puerto Rico, Inc. (C.B.P.A.A.) was founded in 1995 for the primary purpose of establishing standards of preparation, training, education and qualification for the evaluation and granting of a certification in addiction and alcoholism counseling, which will be recognized and validated internationally.
